It started with an ordinary conversation that took an unexpected turn.
Something was said that caught my attention, and I immediately saw an opportunity to have a little fun with it.
I took that idea and ran with it.

WHY I WROTE THIS SONG

Because sometimes I just like having a little fun.
I enjoy playing with words, especially when the same words can lead people in completely different directions.
You don’t always have to write something serious to make people think.
Sometimes a little humour and a good imagination can do the job just as well.
And I had a hell of a good time putting this one together.

WHY THIS MATTERS TO ME

I’ve always enjoyed creating something that isn’t quite what it appears to be.
It’s interesting how people can hear exactly the same words and come away with completely different interpretations.
That’s something I’ve played with in my songwriting for years.
And CHEESUS CRUST takes that idea in a particularly entertaining direction.
