THE BURNING TRUTH

CAN’T HIDE WHAT ALREADY BURNS.

Some truths can sit quietly for years.

We can push them aside, keep ourselves busy, change the subject, blame somebody else or convince ourselves that something doesn’t matter anymore. Sometimes that works for a while.

But truth has patience.

That is what I see in The Burning Truth. The fire is already there. You didn’t necessarily start it today. Maybe it began with something somebody did. Maybe it came from one of your own decisions. Maybe it is something you witnessed, something you believed, or something you know deep down but never wanted to face.

The strange thing about truth is that hiding it doesn’t usually make it disappear. It can actually give it more power.

A small problem ignored can become a large one. A lie needs another lie to protect it. Resentment can sit quietly until one little thing brings everything back. Even history works this way. People can bury uncomfortable parts of the past, but sooner or later somebody starts digging.

That is why this symbol burns from the inside.

The fire isn’t there to make truth look evil. Fire can destroy, but fire also exposes. It gives light. It changes things. For thousands of years people have used fire for warmth, protection, cooking, metalworking and survival. The same thing that can burn something down can also help build something stronger.

Truth can work that way too.

It might hurt when it arrives. It might embarrass us. It might change what we thought we knew about somebody, or what we thought we knew about ourselves.

But once something is true, pretending otherwise doesn’t change it.

You can close the door.

You can turn off the light.

You can walk away.

But if it is already burning, sooner or later you are going to see the glow.
